Before becoming one of Kashima’s veterans and longtime drivers, Kashima grew up in the North of Namibia, Oshana looking after cattle and goats. Later Shawn also moved to the coastal town of Walvis Bay, where he became very fond of the dunes, making the desert his favourite place to visit. He firmly believes one can never go wrong with a proper braai in the desert after a long day.

Born in Oshakati in the North of Namibia, but moving to the coastal town of Walvis, Laz grew up with a strong love to watch and play soccer. After high school, he moved to Windhoek to further his studies and kill time on off days by linking up with friends and enjoying pizza. He enjoys being a guide, as he gets to interact with people and see their expressions as they enjoy local culture and experiences.

Tobias, our favorite booking specialist, grew up with his grandparents from the tender age of only 5 months. Her long-term goal is to enhance her career skills while expanding her professional network within Kashima Safaris. She enjoys doing creative art, such as painting with her two boys, and then enjoying the comfort of a homemade meal of pap and omahere.
